Manual Transfer Switches
A range of change over switches ranging from 63 – 3150 Amps. These have been designed to meet the requirements for manual transfer between the Mains and an alternative supply (usually a generator).
The switches are designed to IEC / EN60947-3, and are of a compact design allowing the use of smaller enclosures.
A manual transfer switch is similar to an Automatic transfer switch panel except that swapping between supplies is done via a manual switch with an off position as well so that the user can determine which supply is used. The switch can also be configured to split supply between two loads, for example between two industrial machines. Power is fed into the switch and then the user can decide which machine to direct the power to or to place the switch in the off position to isolate both machines.
