Bypass control panels are an addition to the more standard ATS control panel. The bypass function can be fitted to the mains, plant of both. However it is more commonly fitted to the mains input. The bypass system, as the name suggest allows the ATS panel to be bypassed. This allows for critical loads to remain powered whilst maintenance or a fault is corrected within the ATS system.

By providing a manual bypass or local override to the primary control system, operators can maintain system performance without relying solely on automated control hardware.
